Borgo Scopeto Borgonero originates from the Tuscany region of Italy. The estate is owned by Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini, who also manages prestigious properties such as Altesino and Caparzo, with winemaking overseen by Massimo Bracalente. The Borgo Scopeto property near Castelnuovo Berardenga dates back to the year 1000 and was historically part of the agricultural holdings of the Bishop of Siena.

Wine Description

This 'Super Tuscan' presents a deep ruby red colour with violet hues. The aromatic profile is intense and complex, featuring ethereal scents of leather and tobacco alongside ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry. On the palate, the wine is full bodied with an extraordinary structure and surprising softness, offering flavours of liquorice, earthy undertones, and subtle spice from oak aging.
