Boudier Olive Gin

1. Introduction

Boudier Olive Gin is produced in France, specifically in the city of Dijon within the region of Burgundy. Founded in 1874 by Gabriel Boudier, the house has spent 150 years refining traditional manufacturing processes for spirits and liqueurs. While long managed by the Battault family, the distillery was integrated into the Famille Piffaut Vins & Domaines group in 2022.

2. Spirit Description

This gin is an original creation from the house that blends the savoury essence of black olives from Nyons with a classic botanical base. The aromatic profile is delicate, with notes of olive supported by juniper and bright citrus on the nose. On the palate, there is a fresh juniper attack followed by a subtle olive intensity that provides a unique, savoury character. The body is well balanced, resulting in a clean, dry finish. Boudier Olive Gin is bottled at an ABV of 40%.
