Whisky Description

This 29-year-old single malt presents a deep amber colour, reflecting its extended maturation in sherry-seasoned European oak and ex-bourbon American oak casks laid down in 1991 and 1992. The nose reveals sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, orange marmalade, cherry blossom, and subtle liquorice, underpinned by warm Christmas spices. On the palate, rich layers of plum jam, dates, dark chocolate, espresso, and gentle oak spice intermingle with a touch of salinity and Bowmore’s signature soft peat smoke. Full-bodied and complex, the whisky offers remarkable balance between sweetness, spice, and smoke.
