Product description

Bread & Butter Chardonnay originates from the United States, within the California region. The brand operates under the guiding belief that good things do not need to be complicated, focusing on creating honest, simple, and delicious selections meant to be easily enjoyed. The winemaking process is led by veteran winemaker Linda Trotta, who uses her decades of domestic and international experience to shape an unapologetically classic and approachable style.

Wine Description

This white wine presents a vibrant golden appearance in the glass and possesses a heavy, full-bodied structure with a lush, creamy, and silky mouthfeel. The sensory profile is highly expressive, rich, and decadent, opening with an intense nose of ripe yellow peaches, baked apples, and tropical mango, beautifully framed by rich aromas of warm vanilla bean, sweet cream, and toasted brioche. On the indulgent palate, it delivers deep flavours of Meyer lemon, stone fruit, and lemon curd, merging effortlessly into a mid-palate reminiscent of crème brûlée, caramel, and pie crust. The finish is long, smooth, and persistent, leaving a lingering, sweet impression of butterscotch, vanilla, and toasted oak presence.

  • Varietal Composition: 100% Chardonnay.

  • Stylistic Notes: The wine is celebrated for its crowd-pleasing familiarity and bold flavor delivery, balancing its rich oak-driven notes with a structured, soft acidity. To achieve its signature round and creamy framework, the wine undergoes a partial malolactic fermentation followed by careful aging in a combination of American and French oak barrels.

  • ABV: 13.5%.

  • Organic Status: While the winery prioritizes clean, straightforward fruit selection to capture the familiar profile consumers crave, this commercial release is not certified organic.
