The brand is a family-owned collaboration between father Robert Brinley and son Zachary, who launched their first expressions in 2002 with the goal of elevating the flavoured rum category through high-quality, natural ingredients. The "Shipwreck" line takes its name from a 1782 British troopship that sank off the coast of St. Kitts, a local legend often associated with lost rum barrels.

This premium flavoured rum is molasses-based and crafted by blending high-quality base rum from Guyana with natural extracts. It is specifically infused with fully ripe natural Brazilian mangoes to achieve a sophisticated, authentic fruit profile. The spirit presents a clear, pale yellow or light golden appearance. The nose opens with an explosive tropical zest, followed by aromas of succulent mango and subtle hints of peach and citrus. On the palate, it is full-bodied and fresh, offering a lush, natural mango sweetness that avoids artificial candy notes.
