Product description

This structured and 'approachable' rosé wine originates from France, within the regional Côtes du Rhône A.O.C. appellation in the sun-drenched Southern Rhône Valley. Produced by Maison Brotte a historic family-owned estate founded in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 1931 by Charles Brotte this bottling highlights the estate's deep mastery of Mediterranean varieties and regional terroirs. Sourced from choice vineyard parcels planted on gravelly alluvial terraces, clay, and limestone soils along the banks of the Rhône River, the vines thrive under the warm Mediterranean climate. Abundant sunshine is tempered by cool night breezes and the drying influence of the Mistral wind, allowing traditional Rhône grapes to build generous fruit depth while preserving a vibrant, mouthwatering natural acidity.

Wine Description

The Brotte Côtes du Rhône Rosé presents a brilliant, pale salmon-pink color in the glass with bright coral and peach highlights along the rim. Its sensory profile is exceptionally fresh, high-toned, and fruit-forward, delivering an energetic, juicy, and expressive portrait of Southern Rhône rosé. The bouquet opens with a soaring display of crushed wild strawberries, fresh red raspberries, and red currants, seamlessly layered with subtle underlays of pink grapefruit, white peach, orange blossom, fresh garrigue herbs, and a clean line of crushed stone minerality. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied, sleek, and supple, showcasing a succulent core of tart red berries, citrus zest, and melon. It is characterized by its balanced energy and an incisive, mouthwatering backbone of natural acidity that maintains freshness across the mid-palate. The mouthfeel is broad, weightless, and silky, framed by soft structural balance that glides into a long, dry, and invigorating finish accented by notes of strawberry hull, lime peel, and Mediterranean herbs.
