Product description
Brovia Barolo originates from Italy, within the Piedmont region and the Barolo DOCG subregion, specifically sourced from historic vineyards in Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba. Founded in 1863 by Giacinto Brovia, the estate remains a benchmark producer of classical, unmanipulated Barolo under the stewardship of the Brovia family. Practicing organic farming and low-intervention winemaking, Brovia ages its traditional Barolo in large neutral Slavonian oak casks (botte), producing deeply site-expressive wines renowned for their balance, elegance, and incredible aging potential.
Wine Description
This red wine displays a bright, translucent ruby-garnet colour with characteristic brick orange reflections. The nose is highly complex, lifted, and traditional, offering expressive aromas of tart red cherry, crushed cranberry, and dried rose petals, layered with savory notes of forest floor, tar, white truffle, leather, and orange peel. On the palate, it features a medium body with a taut, energetic texture, underpinned by vibrant acidity and firm, fine-grained, chalky Nebbiolo tannins. Stylistically, the wine emphasizes elegance, transparency, and structural precision over extraction, finishing long, dry, and mineral-driven with lingering red fruit and earthy spice.
Varietal composition: 100% Nebbiolo
