Buffalo Trace Bourbon

This straight bourbon whiskey originates from the United States, produced in the Kentucky region. The historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, is one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in America, surviving both Prohibition and major historical events. Owned by the Sazerac Company, the distillery crafts its flagship expression using a proprietary low-rye mash bill before aging the spirit in new, deeply charred oak barrels within traditional brick rackhouses.

Spirit Description

This bourbon presents a rich amber bronze colour in the glass. The nose is complex and inviting, opening with aromas of sweet vanilla, mint, and rich molasses, accompanied by subtle undertones of brown sugar, candied fruit, and warm oak spice. On the palate, it delivers a full body with a smooth, viscous texture, offering flavours of dark caramel, toasted oak, toffee, and ripe dark berries balanced by cinnamon and white pepper spice. The finish is long, warm, and dry, leaving a lingering trail of sweet oak, vanilla, and gentle baking spices. Bottled at an ABV of 45%, it exhibits exceptional balance, richness, and classic Kentucky bourbon character.
