Beer Description
This NEPA pours a dense, opaque glowing orange, often compared to a glass of fresh-squeezed juice, with a thick, pillowy white head.
Aroma: It features an "over-saturated" nose of tropical fruit. Expect a massive bouquet of ripe mango, juicy pineapple, and zesty tangerine, with a faint, pleasant "dank" herbal undertone that balances the sweetness.
Palate: On the tongue, it is remarkably soft and full-bodied. It leads with a velvety, creamy mouthfeel that carries flavors of stone fruit and citrus pith. Unlike traditional Pale Ales, the bitterness is kept very low and rounded, allowing the "juicy" hop character to dominate from start to finish.
Profile: It has a highly drinkable ABV of 6.0% and a low perceived bitterness, making it feel much more like a treat than a standard bitter ale.
Technical Notes: Brewed with a heavy helping of flaked oats and wheat to create its signature "chewy" texture and persistent haze. It utilizes a massive double dry-hop (DDH) schedule with premium Citra and Simcoe hops, focusing on late-stage additions to maximize essential oils while minimizing harsh bitterness.
