Castello di Cacchiano, owned by Count Giovanni Ricasoli-Firidolfi, continues a family lineage dating back over a thousand years. The estate’s winemaking philosophy centres on respecting tradition while refining balance and terroir expression.
Wine Description
This wine shows a brilliant ruby red colour. On the nose, it offers fresh red fruits such as raspberries and currants, accented with hints of orange blossom and subtle spice. The palate is juicy and savoury, framed by vibrant acidity and fine, firm tannins that give structure and length.
Food Pairing
Ideal with Tuscan classics such as bistecca alla fiorentina, wild boar ragù, or aged pecorino. Its lively acidity also complements tomato-based pastas, grilled lamb, or earthy mushroom dishes.
