From the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy, this Chianti Classico Riserva hails from Castello di Cacchiano, an estate with deep roots in Gaiole in Chianti. Owned by the Ricasoli family for nearly a thousand years, the winery is renowned for its commitment to traditional winemaking balanced with modern refinement. Its vineyards, planted at elevations of 340 to 490 metres, are celebrated for producing wines with elegance and longevity.
Wine Description
This Riserva displays a brilliant ruby red colour. The nose is layered with ripe Vignola cherries, red plums, and floral undertones, intertwined with notes of tobacco, cocoa, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it offers a harmonious structure with tightly knit yet elegant tannins, medium to full body, and a savoury freshness that carries into a persistent finish.

This wine pairs beautifully with bistecca alla Fiorentina, roast lamb with rosemary, or mature pecorino.
