In the glass, this 100% Sangiovese displays a dark, brilliant ruby red color with subtle garnet highlights. The complex and dramatic bouquet opens with aromas of dried black cherries, dusty violets, and lavender, layered with hints of mint, tobacco, and exotic spices. On the palate, the wine delivers a full, powerful body balanced by a pure, silky texture and vibrant acidity. Rich red currant and blackberry fruit flavors are framed by firm, linear tannins and a striking streak of saline minerality. The finish is remarkably long and concentrated, leaving lingering notes of tart black fruit and bitter citrus.
