Capel Pisco Reservado Moai originates from Chile, within the designated North region in the subregion of the Elqui Valley. The producer, Cooperativa Agricola Pisquera Elqui Limitada, was established in 1938 as a collaborative effort by small scale grape growers to overcome economic hardships. Today, the cooperative has grown into a major entity, preserving traditional distillation methods while utilising high altitude vineyards irrigated by pure Andean snowmelt.

Spirit Description

This premium spirit displays a glistening straw, amber appearance with soft golden reflections in the glass. The sensory profile features an intense and fruity nose rich with floral Muscat notes, white flowers, fresh grape aromas, and citrus freshness. On the palate, the body is smooth, satiny, and exceptionally well balanced, delivering an aromatic combination of fresh grapes, delicate herbs, and warm spices. The finish is remarkably long, dry, and refined, leaving a trailing warmth complemented by soft peppery fruit and elegant oak tones. This reservado pisco is matured for four to six months in American oak barrels and is bottled at an alcohol by volume of 40%.
