Carruades De Lafite is the second wine of the legendary Château Lafite Rothschild, located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux’s Left Bank. Under the ownership of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), the estate upholds centuries-old traditions and a reputation for precision and elegance in winemaking. The vineyard's gravel-rich terroir contributes to the wine’s refined structure and age-worthiness.
This 2022 vintage displays a deep ruby hue. The nose is expressive, revealing layers of blackcurrant, violet, graphite, and cedar. On the palate, it offers a medium to full body with ripe black fruits, fine-grained tannins, and a silky texture.
