This deep and "enveloping" sparkling red wine originates from Italy, specifically from the Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC subregion in the province of Modena, Emilia-Romagna. The Tre Medaglie (Three Medals) line is the house’s most faithful and representative testimony to the family’s winemaking tradition, which began in 1928. The Grasparossa grape is naturally the most structured and tannic of the Lambrusco family; in this "Amabile" (semi-sweet) style, it is crafted to balance that inherent power with a lush, approachable sweetness.

Cavicchioli Tre Medaglie Lambrusco Grasparossa Amabile presents an intense ruby red colour with a thick, violet-tinted mousse. The sensory profile is highly aromatic and "vinous," featuring an inviting nose of black cherry (specifically Vignola cherry), raspberry, and small black fruits, layered with delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and "polposo" (pulpy), showcasing rich flavours of blackberry, blackcurrant, and pomegranate. It is characterized by its pronounced sweetness, measured at 47 g/L residual sugar, which is expertly balanced by a fresh acidity and a subtle, elegantly tannic finish. This wine typically reaches a light ABV of 8%.
