2. Spirit Description

Centennial 10 Year Old is distilled primarily from high-grade wheat and rye grown in western Canada, distilled using continuous column stills to create a clean, elegant spirit. The whisky is matured for a minimum of 10 full years in charred American oak barrels in the dry, high-altitude climate of southern Alberta. Master blenders at Highwood then artfully marry select barrels to achieve a harmonious balance of soft vanilla sweetness, light baking spices, and smooth grain depth.

• Colour: Bright amber-gold with polished copper reflections.

• Aroma: Light, sweet, and approachable, opening with notes of vanilla cream, butterscotch, and toasted oak, followed by subtle orchard fruits (apple and pear) and a light hint of rye spice.

• Palate: Exceptionally smooth, light, and silky on the entry. Upfront flavors of caramel, sweet corn, and toasted oak give way to soft cinnamon, honey, and subtle dried fruit.

• Body: Medium-bodied with a soft, clean, and rounded mouthfeel.
