Wine Description
The 2022 vintage of Château Brane Cantenac reveals a deep garnet hue, exuding aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, violet, and graphite, with hints of cedar and exotic spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, showcasing velvety tannins wrapped around a core of dark fruit, tobacco leaf, and floral nuances. The blend is composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a touch of Carmenère. The finish is long and harmonious, underpinned by vibrant acidity and mineral tension. This vintage promises a long ageing potential, best enjoyed from 2028 through the late 2040s.
