Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere 2022

Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere is located on the southern slopes of Saint-Emilion and has been in the hands of the Counts von Neipperg since the 1970s. Stephan von Neipperg, the estate's current owner, is renowned for his commitment to sustainable viticulture and a meticulous, terroir-driven approach. The estate’s limestone and clay soils produce wines of remarkable structure and finesse.

This 2022 vintage is a brilliant expression of the estate’s signature style. Deep ruby in colour, it offers a bouquet of ripe blackberry, plum, violets, and subtle cedar. On the palate, it is medium to full bodied, with fine tannins, layers of dark fruit, graphite, and earthy minerality. The wine has excellent balance and length, with a persistent finish laced with spice and floral tones.
