Chateau de Fuisse Macon Villages 2023

Château de Fuissé, an emblematic estate in Burgundy, has a long history dating back to the mid-15th century. The Vincent family has owned the domain since 1862, with Antoine Vincent currently representing the fifth generation of the family to manage the property. The estate owns around 40 hectares of vines, which are spread over more than 100 plots, and they are renowned for their expertise with the Chardonnay grape.

Wine Description

It presents a pale straw or bright gold colour with possible green reflections. The aroma is bright and inviting, offering notes of white peach, ripe pear, and citrus zest, complemented by delicate floral notes and a hint of crushed stone or chalk. The palate is crisp and lively, delivering flavours of green apple, lemon curd, and honeysuckle. The wine is medium bodied, with a lovely, juicy texture.

Pairs effortlessly with grilled seafood, white fish, roast chicken, orfresh salads with citrus vinaigrette. Its vibrant acidity and mineral backbone also complementsoft cheeses like goat cheese or comté.
