Wine Description

Chateau Haut Bages Liberal presents a striking, deep ruby-purple colour with vibrant rim reflections. On the nose, it releases expressively complex aromas of cassis, dark berries, and red plum lifted by floral violets, graphite, pencil shavings, and subtle tobacco hints. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, suave, and fleshy, displaying remarkable energy balanced by chalky, powdery tannins and a lively core of mineral acidity. Aged across French oak barrels, concrete ovals, and terracotta amphorae, this vintage achieves an exquisite balance of freshness, tension, and depth, leading to a long, precise finish.
