Chateau Haut Brion 2022

Chateau Haut Brion, located in the heart of Pessac Léognan, is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine estates in Bordeaux. Established in 1533, it holds the distinction of being the only First Growth located outside the Médoc. Owned by Domaine Clarence Dillon since 1935, the estate continues to honour centuries of winemaking tradition, producing wines of extraordinary character and longevity.

Wine Description
The 2022 Chateau Haut Brion displays a deep, garnet-purple hue. On the nose, it exudes intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, plum preserves, smoked cedar, graphite, and violet. The palate is richly layered with flavours of cassis, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, and warm earth, underscored by savoury minerality and firm but refined tannins. Full-bodied and powerful, yet remarkably graceful, it shows exceptional balance with a velvety texture and an extraordinarily long, lingering finish.
