93 Points James Suckling ... Black-plum, dried-herb, tobacco and some meaty aromas. It's medium-to full-bodied with firm, fine tannins. Savoury and salty finish. Tight and layered. Drink from 2023.

92 Points Decanter ... I have enjoyed Lanessan over the last few years, and there's a lot to take note of here. It's a pretty serious take on the vintage with a strong architecture of cassis fruits, pencil lead and slate. It will age well. Good value. Harvested 24 September to 16 October. Ageing is in 33% new oak.
