Wine Description
This Bordeaux blend, dominated by Merlot, also includes Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet France. The typical Latour Camblanes blend is predominantly Merlot, which lends it a refined and delicate profile.
On the nose, it opens with pleasant aromas of juicy red fruit and subtle spicy nuances. Other notes may include ripe plums, red cherries, and blackberries, with hints of vanilla, tobacco, and spices from oak ageing. The palate is generally medium-bodied, described as gourmet with flavours of freshly-picked red berries, along with hints of toast and cocoa. The wine showcases smooth or velvety tannins that are finely balanced. Stylistically, the wine is approachable with an elegant tannic structure, a balanced acidity, and a clean, delicious finish. The structure is also described as firm and bold, suggesting ageing potential.
