Product description

France’s Bordeaux region is home to Chateau Les Carmes Haut Brion, located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation just southwest of the city of Bordeaux. This estate has a storied history dating back to the 16th century and was originally owned by the Carmelite order, hence the name. Since 2010, it has been under the stewardship of Patrice Pichet, whose investment in architectural innovation and vineyard precision has elevated the estate to new heights of acclaim.

Wine Description
The 2022 vintage of Chateau Les Carmes Haut Brion is a dazzling blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 26% Merlot. In the glass, it presents a deep, saturated purple hue. Aromatically, it is complex and expressive, offering notes of blackberry, graphite, crushed violets, and sweet spice. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and remarkable freshness. The finish is long and mineral-driven, revealing hints of dark chocolate, herbs, and floral undertones.

This wine pairs elegantly with roasted lamb, truffle risotto, or grilled duck breast. Earthy mushrooms and herb-infused dishes also bring out its layered complexity. A perfect match to enhance the wine's complexity.
