The estate was named in part after Count Jean-Baptiste de Saint-Exupéry, the great-grandfather of the famed writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Owned by the Zuger family since 1955, the château is known for producing wines that blend classical elegance with modern precision.
Wine Description
The 2022 vintage of Chateau Malescot St Exupery reveals a vivid garnet-purple hue. On the nose, it bursts with cassis, ripe blackberry, violet, and hints of graphite and spice. The palate is full-bodied and layered, showcasing black cherry, dark plum, and cocoa with refined tannins and vibrant acidity. Structured yet graceful, the wine demonstrates excellent balance and freshness with a persistent, mineral-driven finish.
