Product description
Chateau Pape Clement Blanc 2022 originates from France, within the Bordeaux region and the Pessac Leognan subregion. The estate boasts a rich winemaking history dating back to the 13th century when it was first planted by Bertrand de Goth, who later became Pope Clement V. Owned today by Bernard Magrez, the winery balances traditional craftsmanship with modern viticulture, managing ancient gravelly terroirs to produce world class, cellar worthy Grand Cru Classe white wines.
Wine Description
This white wine displays a brilliant golden colour with light greenish reflections. The nose is highly expressive and perfumed, presenting aromas of lemon curd, fresh grapefruit, white peach, spring flowers, and toasted brioche with a hint of warm spices. On the palate, it exhibits a medium to full body with a fleshy, satiny texture balanced by a vibrant line of saline acidity and fine mineral phenolics. Stylistically, the wine strikes a harmonious balance between luxurious richness, precision, and refreshing concentration, leading into a long, persistent finish.
Varietal composition: 63% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Semillon, 2% Muscadelle
Alcohol by volume: 13.5%
