Château Richebon is a Pauillac estate in Bordeaux with deep ties to the prestigious Château Croizet Bages, a Fifth Growth in the 1855 classification. Owned by the Quié family since 1942, the vineyard traces its history back to the 17th century, with the Croizet brothers and later the Calvé family helping shape its legacy. Today, Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe Quié guide the estate with a focus on producing elegant, authentic Pauillac wines that balance tradition and modernity.
Wine Description
A blend of approximately 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, Château Richebon offers a deep ruby hue and an expressive nose of blackcurrant, cherry, and subtle spice. On the palate, ripe black fruits are layered with notes of cedar and a hint of graphite, supported by supple yet structured tannins. Medium to full bodied, the wine shows fine balance and freshness, with a lingering, elegant finish.
