More Information
Product description
The 2021 'End Game' Merlot is a captivating expression of the Okanagan’s potential for world-class Merlot. In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby hue. The nose is complex and inviting, offering layers of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums, accented by hints of graphite, violet, and subtle baking spices.
On the palate, this wine is full-bodied yet exceptionally balanced, delivering rich flavours of ripe black fruit, cocoa, and a touch of sage. Fine-grained tannins provide structure, while a fresh acidity lifts the mid-palate, leading into a long, polished finish with notes of dark chocolate and crushed stones. Crafted entirely from Merlot, it shows beautiful integration of oak, adding nuances of vanilla and toast without overshadowing the fruit. This vintage is expected to drink wonderfully through 2030.

Food Pairing
Pair this Merlot with herb-crusted rack of lamb, mushroom risotto, or aged cheddar. The wine’s generous fruit and savoury undertones make it equally compelling alongside roasted game or grilled portobello mushrooms. This pairing highlights the wine’s depth and character.
