Product description
Originally established in Paris, Kentucky in 1856, Chicken Cock was forced to move production up to Canada during Prohibition. The Canadian Rye whiskey produced during that period was then smuggled back into the U.S. in tin cans, earning the brand the nickname, “The whiskey in a tin can."
Experience the taste of history with Chicken Cock Cotton Club Rye, a 20-year-old rye whiskey that pays tribute to the Prohibition era and the legendary Cotton Club speakeasy. This exceptional whiskey is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) and comes in a 750ml size, making it a highly sought-after collector's item and a top choice for whiskey connoisseurs.
Aged for two decades in charred oak barrels, Chicken Cock Cotton Club Rye delivers a bold and robust flavour profile that is both unique and satisfying. On the nose, you'll find hints of baking spices, caramel, and oak, while the palate offers rich flavours of dark chocolate, rye spice, and toasted nuts, balanced by a touch of fruity sweetness. The finish is long, warm, and lingering, leaving you with an unforgettable whiskey experience.
