Set among the rolling hills of Abruzzo and surrounded by the Gran Sasso d’Italia and Majella Mountains, at Chiusa Grande Organic Farm Rocco D’Eusanio, his son and grandchildren represent the winemaking tradition of their family, looking towards the future whilst honouring the past.

Many roses in the Adriatic are simply referred to as Cerasuolo, not to be confused with the wine Cerasuolo di Vittoria, both simply meaning, Cherry-like. This vegan-friendly example shows lovely fresh flowers, cherry (of course), as well as a light almond nuttiness and a minty lift. With a fresh palate and seductive mid-weight finish, this is fleshy yet lively, a dangerously quaffable patio wine that begs for Margherita pies or sardines with chimichurri. A bottle full of sunshine and relaxation.
