Clos du Marquis is a distinguished label created in the early 20th century by the Delon family, proprietors of the revered Château Léoville Las Cases. Situated in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Clos du Marquis has earned its own identity, separate from its famous sibling estate, while benefiting from similarly meticulous winemaking and vineyard management practices.

A blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Clos du Marquis displays a deep garnet hue. The nose opens with complex aromas of cassis, ripe blackberries, graphite, and violets, underpinned by hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with firm yet polished tannins, showcasing layers of dark fruit, espresso, and savoury spice. The mid-palate is concentrated and structured, leading to a long, precise finish with a mineral edge.
