Clos Du Soleil Syrah 2022

Produced in the Similkameen Valley of British Columbia, this Syrah is a standout from the Keremeos and Cawston subregions. Clos Du Soleil is an artisanal winery co-owned by Managing Director and Winemaker Michael Clark, who applies a philosophy of minimal intervention and biodynamic viticulture. The winery is dedicated to producing ageable, elegant wines that reflect the unique, stony terroir of the Similkameen.

Wine Description

This single vineyard wine displays a deep purple colour in the glass. The perfumed nose is highly aromatic, featuring freshly crushed raspberries, plums, and violets, layered with subtle notes of wild sagebrush and forest undergrowth. On the palate, the wine is rich and complex, offering flavours of wild raspberries, black currants, and pomegranate, accented by black pepper and savory spice. It possesses a full mouthfeel supported by fine grained, stony tannins and a fresh, linear acidity.
