Product description

Daily Forecast (specifically the Daily Forecast: Mimosa) is a standout fruited sour from Ontario’s Collective Arts Brewing. As the name suggests, it is crafted to be the ultimate brunch companion, designed to replicate the experience of a classic mimosa. By blending a tart beer base with a massive amount of real juice, Collective Arts has created a "breakfast beer" that is as at home at a morning celebration as it is on a sunny patio.

Beer Description

This Mimosa Sour pours a bright, turbid orange—looking almost exactly like a glass of fresh-squeezed juice—with a fizzy, rapidly dissipating white head.

Aroma: The nose is dominated by an explosion of fresh, zesty orange. It smells remarkably authentic, featuring notes of sweet citrus pulp and a bright, lactic tang that hints at the sour beer base underneath.

Palate: On the tongue, it is light-to-medium bodied and highly effervescent. It leads with a lush, juicy sweetness from the unfermented orange juice, which is immediately balanced by a sharp, refreshing acidity. The finish is crisp and tingly, mimicking the bubbly "sparkle" of champagne.

Profile: It has a sessionable ABV of 4.5% and negligible bitterness. The structure is entirely defined by the interplay between the sweetness of the fruit and the tartness of the souring process.

Technical Notes: This beer is unique because it is blended with approximately 30% unfermented, freshly pressed orange juice. This high juice content provides the heavy body and authentic fruit flavor, while the lightly soured beer base provides the necessary acidity to keep it refreshing rather than syrupy.
