Collective Arts Local Press Apple Cider 473ml – 24 Cans

This crisp craft cider originates from Canada, specifically Hamilton, Ontario. Collective Arts Brewing was founded in 2013 by Matt Johnston and Bob Russell with a mission to fuse the creativity of craft beverages with the talents of global emerging artists. The company's philosophy centers on the belief that 'creativity fosters creativity,' using their cans as a 'global art gallery' to feature limited-edition works by international artists.

The 'Local Press' is the flagship cider of the brand, made from a blend of 100 per cent Ontario-grown apples, specifically Northern Spy, Ida Red, and Spartan. It presents a cloudy golden yellow colour and features large carbonation bubbles. The nose is very crisp with sweet apple aromas and subtle hints of pear. On the palate, the cider offers a medium bite with pleasant tartness, earthy notes, and a strong flavour of apple peel. Stylistically, it is described as super refreshing, clean, and balanced, leaning toward a semi-sweet and semi-tart profile. The finish is reminiscent of fresh apple juice. The alcohol by volume (ABV) is 5.6 per cent, and the cider contains approximately 12 grams of sugar per litre. It is naturally gluten-free and is crafted without the deep tannins often found in more traditional English styles.
