The Comtesse de Malet Roquefort Rouge presents a brilliant ruby red colour. The sensory profile is remarkably fresh and fruit-forward, featuring an aromatic nose of ripe strawberry, raspberry, and red currant, accented by subtle floral notes and a touch of sweet spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and supple, showcasing velvety tannins and a bright acidity that balances the richness of the fruit. It is characterized by its charm and "drinkability," leading to a clean, fruity finish with a hint of graphite. This traditional Right Bank-style blend is dominated by Merlot (typically around 80%) with a smaller portion of Cabernet Franc, and is fermented in stainless steel to preserve its pure primary fruit character.
