Produced by the famed Famille Perrin, this wine is often regarded as the 'baby Beaucastel', as the Coudoulet vineyard is located just east of the prestigious Château de Beaucastel on soil that is virtually identical. Wine Description
This red blend features a clear, elegant deep ruby colour with purple undertones. The aromatic profile is seductive and multifaceted, delicately mixing notes of fresh red fruit like raspberry and wild strawberry, with nuances of spices, licorice, dried herbs, baking spices, and a hint of cypress. On the palate, the wine is powerful, full-bodied, and defined by a surprising freshness. It is shaped gently by soft, velvety tannins that contribute to a balanced and round profile.
