Cusumano Chardonnay Jale 2023

The Cusumano winery was established in 2001 when brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano took over from their father, Francesco. Cusumano's winemaking philosophy centres on highlighting the importance of 'terroir' knowledge, investing in innovative technologies, and nurturing a passion for winemaking.

Wine Description

In the glass, it shines in a light gold colour with a greenish tinge. The aroma is complex and fine, offering notes of ripe pear, white flowers, pineapple, and citrus zest, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and roasted hazelnut kernel from the six months of oak barrel ageing. On the palate, the wine is full, structured, creamy, and precise, showcasing finesse rich fruit and a skilfully used wood influence.

The wine's creamy texture, refreshing acidity, and rich flavour profile make it an excellent match for poached fish, risotto, vegetarian dishes, and dishes with buttery or creamy sauces.
