Dão Alvaro Castro Reserva originates from the Dão region of Portugal, specifically within the Serra da Estrela subregion. This estate is owned and operated by the legendary Alvaro Castro—a former civil engineer who inherited the property in 1980—and his daughter, Maria, who joined him in 2000.

Wine Description

This white wine presents a brilliant straw-yellow to bright citrus colour in the glass. The nose is delicate and precise, revealing an elegant harmony of mineral-driven 'wet stone' notes alongside subtle aromas of white fruit such as pear and green apple. On the palate, the wine is structured and voluminous with a rounded mouthfeel and a notable presence. It displays a medium-bodied weight characterized by yellow citrus flavours and well-integrated acidity that provides exceptional freshness and balance.
