De Forville, established in 1860 by Gioacchino De Forville, is a historic winery in the Piedmont region of Italy. With origins tracing back to Wallonia, the family settled in Barbaresco and has since been influential in promoting the Nebbiolo grape. Their commitment to quality and tradition extends to their production of Chardonnay.

Wine Description

The De Forville Piemonte Chardonnay is a 100% Chardonnay wine sourced from vineyards in Castagnole Lanze at the "Cascina Buc" farmhouse and in Coazzolo. Vinified and aged exclusively in stainless steel, this wine showcases a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers delicate and fresh aromas of wildflowers. The palate is dry, velvety, and harmonious, reflecting its light and fresh character.
