This spirit originates from the United States. It was created by the team at Ransom Distillery in Sheridan, Oregon, a pioneering craft spirits producer with over 25 years of heritage. The distillery is a family owned operation that values artisanal 'low tech' production and sustainability on its 40 acre organic farm.
Spirit Description
The spirit is clear and presents a traditional botanical profile. The aroma features vibrant essences of fresh pine, juniper berries, dried citrus, and candied lemon, with subtle notes of spearmint and wet earth. On the palate, it delivers a unique combination of warming spice and cooling sensations, offering layers of lemon, wintergreen, and menthol. The finish is complex and clean, marked by lingering notes of licorice root, coriander, and fennel seed. It is characterized by its balanced botanical bite and a realistic 'burn' provided by capsicum. The alcohol by volume is less than 0.5%.
