This wine hails from the Molise region of Italy, specifically the Terre degli Osci subregion. Di Majo Norante has been producing wine since the 19th century, with a history rooted in the ancient cellars of Campomarino. The winery is currently led by Alessio Di Majo, who maintains a philosophy centered on traditional, bio-organic viticulture and the preservation of Mediterranean winemaking characteristics.
Wine Description
The Sangiovese presents a rich profile with a deep ruby colour and an aromatic nose featuring ripe plums, cherries, blueberries, and subtle notes of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full bodied, offering a chalky and powdery texture complemented by sweet spice on the finish.
