Dingle Vodka is an artisanal craft spirit produced by the Dingle Distillery in Dingle, County Kerry, located on the picturesque Dingle Peninsula along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Founded in 2012 by Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart, and Peter Mosley, Dingle was one of the pioneering independent craft distilleries in the modern Irish spirits revival. While renowned for its Irish whiskey and award-winning gin, Dingle Vodka stands out as a pure, meticulous expression of Irish craft distilling, celebrated for its smooth, slightly sweet grain character and pristine texture.

Spirit Description

Dingle Vodka is crafted using a 100% grain neutral spirit base that undergoes a rigorous multi-distillation process. The spirit is distilled five times in a custom-built 500-liter copper pot still nicknamed "Oisín." Following distillation, the high-proof vodka is blended with pure, mineral-rich water drawn from the distillery's own 240-foot well located beneath the Kerry countryside. The combination of copper pot distillation and pure local spring water yields a vodka of exceptional clarity, subtle sweetness, and a soft, velvety texture.

• Colour: Crystal clear, bright, and pristine with clean legs in the glass.

• Aroma: Clean, soft, and subtle, opening with delicate notes of sweet grain, fresh cream, a touch of citrus zest, and a light aniseed minerality.

• Palate: Exceptionally smooth, rounded, and clean on the entry. Upfront flavors of sweet cereal grain, light marshmallow, and vanilla bean give way to subtle crack of white pepper and a gentle, refreshing stone minerality.

• Body: Medium-bodied with a remarkably soft, creamy, and velvety mouthfeel.

• Finish: Crisp, long, and clean, trailing off with lingering grain sweetness, subtle creaminess, and a warm, refreshing pepper finish without harsh heat.

• ABV: Bottled at 40% ABV (80 Proof).
