Product description
Dom Perignon P2 Rose is an extraordinary prestige cuvee originating from the historic Champagne region of France. The house traces its spiritual legacy back to the 17th century Benedictine monk Pierre Perignon, who pioneered revolutionary standards of excellence at the Abbey of Hautvillers. Guided today by Chef de Caves Vincent Chaperon, the maison remains strictly dedicated to vintage-only champagnes, striving to capture the radical expression of a single harvest through a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Wine Description
This champagne displays a deep, luminous rose colour that reflects both superb maturation and remarkable concentration. The nose is complex and evolving, unfurling with expressive aromas of wild strawberry, blood orange, and raspberry, layered with rose petals, warm nutmeg, cocoa powder, and a signature hint of smoky minerality. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and vinous, showing a broad yet precise mouthfeel where rich red berry fruit and citrus zest are supported by a fine, boisterous mousse and a firm, mineral-driven structure. Crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this prestige cuvee has been patiently aged on its lees for roughly fifteen years to reach its second 'Plenitude' stage, yielding incredible freshness, tension, and savoury depth. This bottle is currently showing magnificently and has an optimal drinking window extending through 2040.
