Domaine de Chevalier is located in the Pessac Leognan subregion of Bordeaux, France. Since 1983, the estate has been owned by the Bernard family and managed by Olivier Bernard, who maintains a philosophy of perfection and balance. The vineyard is considered a jewel of the Graves region, emphasizing a commitment to terroir where ninety percent of the quality is achieved through meticulous vineyard work.
Wine Description
Domaine de Chevalier Rouge presents a deep ruby red colour with an expressive and complex nose featuring sweet tobacco, plums, and smoky mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is medium to full bodied and juicy, offering a sophisticated blend of redcurrant, blackberry, and cedar complemented by silky, well resolved tannins. It displays a harmonious structure with fresh acidity and a long, persistent finish that reveals hints of spice and pencil lead.
