Domaine de Maubet has been a family-owned estate since 1855, originally functioning as a farm before the Fontan family dedicated the property entirely to viticulture in the 1980s. Their winemaking philosophy centers on a deep commitment to the environment and the production of expressive, fruit-forward wines that highlight the unique sand and clay soils of their estate.

The Maubet Rouge displays a bright and deep purple colour. The nose is highly aromatic and fresh, dominated by scents of ripe blackcurrants, blackberries, and a subtle hint of spicy green pepper. On the palate, the wine is supple and well-balanced, featuring soft tannins and a refreshing fruitiness that makes it very approachable. It offers a clean, medium finish with lingering notes of dark berries. This wine is a blend of Tannat, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
