This elegant Pinot Noir hails from the Gevrey Chambertin appellation in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France. Domaine de la Vougeraie was created in 1999 by the Boisset family, who consolidated their premium vineyard holdings into a single estate dedicated to organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Wine Description

'Les Evocelles' presents a bright mid ruby purple colour and a complex sensory profile. The nose is highly aromatic and floral, featuring a mixture of red and black fruits such as cherry and raspberry alongside darker notes of blackberry and cassis. Subtle spiciness, including hints of cracked black pepper, Earl Grey tea, and vanilla, adds further depth. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and silky, exhibiting a vibrant energy and a fine-boned structure. It displays a commendable persistency and a saline, fresh finish, balanced by well-judged tannins.
