Product description

Introduction
From France’s Jura region, in the Côtes du Jura appellation, Domaine des Carlines is based in Ménétru-le-Vignoble within the renowned Château-Chalon area. Founded in 2015 by Patrick and Sophie Ligeron, this family-run estate spans approximately 11 hectares, with 3 hectares in the prestigious Château-Chalon designation. The winery practises sustainable viticulture with a move toward organic certification, focusing on minimal intervention and traditional Jura winemaking.

Wine Description
This white blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin offers a luminous golden hue. On the nose, it reveals delicate floral aromas intertwined with notes of fresh bread dough. The palate is generous yet precise, with ripe orchard fruit framed by a creamy texture and lifted by vibrant acidity. Medium-bodied, it carries through to a firm, lingering finish, marked by both freshness and subtle minerality.

Food Pairing
Its crisp acidity and layered texture make it an excellent match for poultry, mature cheeses such as Comté, and earthy mushroom dishes. It also pairs beautifully with creamy seafood preparations and savoury tarts. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
