Domaine des Perdrix Nuits Saint Georges originates from the prestigious Burgundy region of France, specifically from the northern edge of the Nuits Saint Georges appellation. Owned by the Devillard family since 1996, the estate has quickly risen to prominence through rigorous vineyard management and a philosophy that emphasizes the unique expression of each terroir. The winery is particularly noted for its high-quality holdings, including nearly the entirety of the 'Aux Perdrix' Premier Cru, and is recognized as one of the best producers of 'Grands Vins de Bourgogne'.

Wine Description

This Pinot Noir presents a bright ruby-red colour that is both shiny and pure. The nose is intense and complex, revealing earthy characteristics typical of the terroir alongside aromas of black cherry, blueberry, and blackcurrant, accented by subtle leather and fresh ginger spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, showing a frank and ample attack that leads into a midpalate of refined, silky tannins. Its structure is rich yet well-integrated, balanced by a lively, taut freshness that carries through to a long, fruity finish.
