Wine Description

Hermitage Blanc reveals a deep golden hue in the glass. Aromas unfold with almond, quince, jasmine, lemon zest, and subtle honeyed tones, framed by mineral accents. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, balancing ripe orchard fruit with chalky minerality and a hint of phenolic grip. Lower in acidity than cooler vintages, its concentration and density give a layered, almost tactile impression. The finish is long and persistent, with notes of baked apple, spice, and a refined stony edge. 

Food Pairing

Ideal with rich seafood dishes such as lobster thermidor, seared scallops, or halibut with beurre blanc. It also pairs elegantly with roast poultry, creamy veal dishes, or mushroom risotto.

Just bottled but certainly not showing any worse for it, the 2023 Hermitage Blanc offers up gorgeous aromatics of quince, honeyed white flowers, and blanched almond on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, round, incredibly pure, and seamless on the palate, with a supple, vibrant texture and a gorgeous finish. This is an absolute lights-out Hermitage Blanc that I wish every reader could taste. I love it even today, yet it's going to cruise in cold cellars for at least two decades. Drink 2026-2046.
