The wine presents a clear, dark ruby purple colour with vibrant crimson highlights along the rim. An expressive, complex bouquet opens with classic Gevrey aromas of dark black cherry, wild blackberry, and crushed cassis, interwoven with fragrant notes of violet, gamey earthiness, damp forest floor, leather, and subtle toasted oak spice. On the palate, it is medium-to-full bodied, firm, and muscular, delivering rich layers of dark red berries, black fruit, and savory herbs, all supported by a vibrant, mouthwatering spine of natural acidity.
